4th Round of Argentine Opening Tournament Kicks Off

The 4th round of the Professional Football League's Opening Tournament will kick off this Friday with a series of exciting matches. On Friday, February 6th, Central Córdoba from Santiago del Estero will host Unión de Santa Fe at the Alfredo Terrera Stadium. This Zone A match is scheduled for 21:00 and will be broadcast on TNT Sports Premium. The referee appointed is Andrés Merlos, with Álvaro Carranza serving as the VAR. Both teams arrive with very different realities. Unión has had a decent start, accumulating four points and sitting 8th in Zone A, still in playoff contention. Central Córdoba, on the other hand, had a disastrous start, managing only one point in three matches, and currently ranks 14th. On Saturday and Sunday, other teams will be in action. On Saturday, Racing will host Argentinos Juniors, and River will face Tigre. On Sunday, the so-called 'big three' teams—Independiente, San Lorenzo, and Boca—will visit Platense, Huracán, and Vélez, respectively. The matchday will conclude on Monday with a full slate of games.
